Bones Sings Out of Tune |

Mr. Joe’s sitting at the settlement house’s old piano, he’s sitting there pounding out "Viva La Compagnie". The gangs gathered around and they’re singing it loud. Bones is singing out of tune, but no one bothers about little things like that. It’s cold and wet out on the street, and nice and warm around the piano. No one is about to make waves. Bobby |

I sang that when I was in high school. I was in choir. Bones is a smart thinker. Some people fall in love and touch the sky, some people fall in love and find quicksand. |

Bobby - Bones is doing good, singing out of tune. But no worry, no one is making waves, as you wrote... I can picture the scene on the corner... BC |

Thanks Paul, I hope you sang it good and loud like Bones. What you say is very true. Bones wasn't born yesterday. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. Jordan (11-14-2008 06:37 PM).] |

Thanks dear Alison, Yes, Bones was always happy to be in the settlement house. It was always warm, and there was always something to do. Singing, baseball in the summer, and basketball in the winter. It was a fun place. Love Bobby |

Thanks dear M, I think you, Bones, and I should get together and go around during Christmas. People would come out and pay us to stop singing. Think about it! Love Bobby |
