Like everyone from the hood.
Bones knows who he is,
and just what the world
thinks of him.

He’s been informed of that
through no uncertain circumstances.

Yeah, Bones knows who he is,
and he knows that the world
has him all wrong.
That’s good enough for Bones.

Bones is one of the good guys,
he’s a white hat kind of boy.

Thanks dear Juju,

Here in the hoods of Philly, a white hat guy was a good guy. Bones didn't get into trouble with the police, and of course we all know, he never hurt anyone.

i.e. He wasn't a gangster.

It does hurt, when the world judges blindly ... but you are so right, when WE know it should be enough. Bones was wise for his age.
