Bones Won't Smile

Everyone wants Bones to smile.

Mom tells him to smile,
teachers at school tell him to smile,
his clients tell him to smile.

However,
Bones is very serious,
and he refuses to smile.

For one thing,
there’s no money in smiling,
and then,
of course,
Bones has nothing to smile about.

Yes, some days are like that.

For Bones, every day is like that.  It's not that he's unhappy.  It's just that he never smiles.

You can tell him jokes, and I think you could even tickle him.  You will never get him to smile, or laugh.

You and Bones should get together and dead-pan each other.

Griselda can sometimes get a smile out of Bones, on rare occasions.
