I wonder what tomorrow brings?
And what’s in store for future years?
Economy and days unknown
Our time of fate and where it steers?

Conservative we most remain
But what if end was not so far
Should we splurge and start a game
In which the common people star?

Enjoying fruits of labour’s task
Relaxing more to worry less
Adventure when the mind may ask
And in the day ourselves impress

Is this world a ticking clock?
That’s waiting for the call of fate
Which could be just around the block?
While you and me all live too late

There are predictions of the end
Scripts that tell of what’s to come
The UFO’s that space does send
The governments that say there’s none

There are believes who accept
The skeptics who are scared to say
The ones of us who do not know
And they that hide the truth away

We reach an age of worry less
But think a lot of what might be
The outcome, it is just a guess
Which one day the whole world will see

So day by day I go a long
With friendly smile and soul of hope
Just knowing here I do belong
And knowing that we all shall cope

================

Good and bads, we see each day
But they were left with yesterday
Here and now we live to see
More building blocks to what could be

Rick,

I am thankful that you do go about each day with a smile while sharing your poetry.  Who knows about the world?  All I know is I believe that each day can be our last - I try to spend every one thankful for the gifts that I have been given.

"I wonder what tomorrow brings" ~ I always
appreciate reading your thoughts. You always
put a positive spin on even the most dire of circumstances. Your hopefulness and positive attitude are contagious!

Just a note ~ In the 1960s, in Northern Ontario, Canada, I saw a total of 3 UFO sightings. One of which was witnessed by several other people at the same time. It lasted for several minutes. Two of the three sightings made it into our local newspaper  ~ They're heeeere! lol

Very intense and insightful lines, dear Rick. We all wonder and hope and I agree with you we shall be able to cope.

We are in midst of a shift to higher awareness, no doubt, we need to awaken to Love.

Love,
Margherita

Hi Linda, I saw a UFO late in September here at home, was like an amber cloud moving along quite quickly, thought it might have been a plane with an engine on fire, above it at the same speed was a bright light, was very strange, rang the airport and no air traffic problems, was about 3am in the morning. Nice you have seen some as well, thanks for your reply here my friend, always nice to have you visit.
