Standing In Silence...

I’d rather just ignore-
That nagging regret-
That keeps itching-
At my conscience….

Somehow….

I’m behind in life.
Left to wallow alone,
To try and figure it out.

Somehow….

I want to fight and
Scream and RAGE-
Take my aggressions out.
Somehow….

This frustration threatens to overwhelm me-
But I can only lock it down…
And try to shut it out….
Somehow…..

Somehow, sometimes we should SCREAM yes, but how often, me too, I react like you.

Very nice poem, I agree that it is okay to just scream or even find somewhere else or some way else to vent that frustration. I can definitely relate!

Scream, rage, write, do whatever you need
but get it all out. You know hon, it all helps...and then you go on, strong, as you ALWAYS have been. Do I really need to recount the stories??
