As the flutter starts,
And my heart races.
I can not hide,
The excitement i feel inside.

Everything is fine,
Going as planned,
Holding on for the ride,
I swim in my pride.

As my gut darkens,
And my heart drops,
I try hard to hide,
The hurt I feel inside.

Everything is wrong,
Not going as planned,
It was ready but not sent,
Dealing now with the disappointment.
