He walks alone
on paths unknown
beneath a silent moon,
From lake remote
a single note,
comes call of distant loon,
A second's pause,
as in him gnaws
thoughts of long ago,
Moving on,
past thoughts now gone
in balm of night's bestow.

ah...

so it isn't just ME today.

I've always thought that you write beautifully, Tim, but it's especially moving when our moods match.

(Let's blame it on the moon, yes?)
