Exhale

The last leaves of columbine quiver reluctantly
Blown colors fall from moonlit trees, now blue
As November makes entrance on sullen lip
Relinquishing order to chaos

Apprehensive of the cold
Sad skies, drip tears of fond adieu
Succumbing in the wind
For just this moment
Just now

Turning within a circle larger
Alone, sapling to spear
Dug into the earth, endure to endear
Then vault me forward
On wings of
Gratitude~

"endure to endear" love this phrase, but I never cease to be amazed at your word choices
