Oh, It's true alright. In 1949 we had just moved into a house that had one of those old open-flame heaters. My brother stuck a paper bag into the flame, fire went up the curtains, caught the wallpaper and shot across the ceiling in seconds. My mother was slightly burned trying to get him out because it scared him and he ran from her. The house pretty much buned to the ground. Ida |
