It's Sunday
you'll be at church
I wonder if God knows
how you touched me
inside and out

I wonder if you know
how it broke me
to let you go
pretending I was doing
the right thing for you

knowing the truth was
you were through

Nothing mellifluous in this, just the sore pain. He may pose the same questions and come to the same conclusions, who knows!

Powerfully expressed, dear Susan!

Love,

Susan,

I knew before this opened that I would hurt for you - and I do.  Beautiful writing and oh so sad.  I am still trying to remember the title.

Oh Susan~

Your heart is gorgeous even when it's bleeding pure emotion.

So sadly~

Susan. A long time ago I believed, like most of the world still believes, that "relationships" are discrete things that have a beginning and an end and that they follow each other in serial order, like one after another after ...
But now I believe that relationships are friendships or they are nothing.  Others pass in and out of our lives and more than half the time we will never know why, or never even get a chance to say goodbye.  I wonder about the ones that went away or died, all for no apparent reason, and all the while there are new ones clamoring to get in.
May you have all the love that you deserve.
Dreaming weird dreams, Jaime

Sometimes things happen so quickly you are left confused...

and that wasn't the ending.

Thank you all for the love, support and responses.

Just another chapter I suppose.

I agree with Marge!~ After math is never the fun part~ It's like going through withdrawal~ Not having what was so close to you and what your use to anymore...

sad write Susan!
