I'm 25 and I'm feelin' like life is overrated
I set goals for myself... accomplish them
And then get bored with the success I've achieved for myself
I'm deep in debt trying acquire a "higher education"
Even when I'm already smarter than these so called "scholars"
Nobody wants the dollar
What's the point of slaving for some currency that's worth dirt
The economy is garbage and it's about to get worse
People went from makin' it rain it to makin' it cloud burst
Forcing to foreclose on their homes
The stock market is falling off harder than Marion Jones

I have zero hope in the American Government
But I'm voting for Obama
We need a change in this nation
Besides voting for McCain
Is like putting the last eight years of bull.... into syndication
And that is a re-run I will never D.V.R
Gas prices are insane
The old bike is about to become the new car
Riding in rain, sleet or snow
Whatever it takes to keep from going bankrupt yo

I'm not an optimist or pessimist
I'm a realist…that's a mixture of both
It's better to be prepare for anything
Than to only be prepared for the good things
Nothing in life is what it seems
Most people know this
So they lie to themselves to help survive through the bull....

Some people think that religion is important to humanity's health
I used to believe in god
Until I figured I'd get a lot more done if I just believed in myself
I'm a man who asks questions
And religion is the art of making up bull....
To make one's self comfortable
How can god be real when everything is violent and unstable
Evil rules the world
Religion is man made and so is the bible
Human's are designed to be untruthful
Which means somebody is lying
Because the truth is too hurtful
It doesn't matter if a person is on their last day and close to dying

They want to believe they're going to a better place in sky
Even though they're going to cold place in the ground
And will soon be forgotten about
Nothing lasts forever... not even the sun
Eventually all our lights will be turned out
That's what happens when you die
Humans are so selfish
That they think there is a life after you've already lived one
This type of greed is more common than the monetary one
Life is too short to be worrying about a divine plan
Designed by an imaginary man
All you can do is be the best the you can
While you can stand
Because when you lay down
Your clock has officially reached the end of it's countdown

If you look in the thesaurus the words "friend" and "backstabber" are synonymous
They smile all in your face to see what they can get
Once they get what they want
They treat you like trash and then move to the next sucka
Have you feeling used like a mutha....
The guard is now always up
Past bad relationships have changed my stance
On where friendship and romance should stand
I had a girl tell me she wanted us to be together and that she loved me
Then proceeded to get married to a lower quality man
Every time I think about it I get sad
That was a while ago, but I'm glad
she's starting to fade out of my life like a pair of black pants

This is the end of my vent…..'til next time.

Wow ... such a vent you've shared~

I hope that you have much yet to learn~
Life affords us the opportunity to have different beliefs and views as we walk through situations ... I trust that your walk will find that love and friendships can be blessings ... and if not ... then hopefully your walk through this life will find much to be grateful for~

I will try to find more by you to read~

Yo Streets,

I'd think of cutting some of this.  Think several poems.

BTW, go head Obama.  He gets my vote too.
