Once in time
the sky
could hold us

cradled in its zone
of freestyle blues

at waters edge
we'd gather

deep in its feathered pond

2 hands
held in silhouette
edged in filagree

greys along
the cobblestone groove

was before the iron
pressed you flatfaced
un lines of grimace
worn on white collar worlds
of industrial mood

was once in time
you called me Priscilla
and cherished me
your confidant
and primetime muse.

"Once in time

could hold us"

I shall have a dream of this tonight.
Great imagery.

SweetInkyLady~
I don't think that anything I could say would do justice to the absolute beauty of this writing~
(and yet ... )

I need read no further to find the perfect piece for the day~

There is such beauty in this~
I am holding it all in continued review of your thoughts~

'Once in time
the sky
could hold us

cradled in its zone
of freestyle blues

at waters edge
we'd gather
deep in its feathered pond
2 hands held in silhouette
edged in filagree
grey along
the cobblestone grooves

before the heavy handed
pressed your face
flat in lines of grimace
worn on the white collar
worlds of indusrial mood

was once in time
you called me Priscilla
and cherished me
as confidant
and primetime muse.'

This is totally awesome, dear Michele! One that I will read more than once for the emotions it conveys.
