Ain’t Going Home
“No More”
By Paul Wilson

I ain’t going home
no I ain’t going home no more
I’ve turned my back on the past
forever closed that door

Been down and out
been left for dead
Kicked and cut
shot in the head

I ain’t going home no more
nothing left for me there
Family and friends…ha
hell they don’t care

Kicking rocks like I been kicked
walking down this road of despair
Tried my best in every way
but it didn’t get me anywhere

Ain’t going home no more
Ain’t going home no more

Made up my mind to leave
while I still can
Play my music
I’m a blues man

Let my music touch your heart
feel my pain from within
Nothing left too lose
nothing left too win

I’m leaving today
ain’t going home no more
Turned my back on the past
time to open another door

I’m just a blues man
playing my music while I roam
Feeling the pain of you
trying to find my way back home

Dear Paul, that's a deeply melancholic blues song, it touches the heart.

Paul, that is a sad post my friend and although it is always great to open some

new door, don't, definately don't close the door at home, for really, there is no place

like home. Good luck and always remember things are never as bad as they seem.

Paul~
You do the blures so nicely ... sadly ... but so REAL ..~

'Turned my back on the past
time to open another door'

My past has turned me to another pathway also ... and I seek the road that turns me 'round to knock on another door ... knowing full well that the door way I've chosen to close may very well open again .. and if and when it does ... I may or may not have the strength to resist the return~

Decisions are often made in a moment~
Sometimes resistance is weak ... but sometimes we know that by holding on to another ... we can make it ... yes, we can~

I can hear your music dear poet friend~
Keep on singing~

Paul - hello my friend, it's been a long time for sure. I see you still write the blues with feeling. Hope this is just a song, and not for real...
