In Foreign Valley

In a valley
a river diced
through fields filled
with luscious rice.

There lived a woman
that loved a man
decades ago
in Japan.

Came a war
the man was called
in foreign valley
he gave his all.

Still today she warmly
remembers him
this precious woman
loving a man.
