You let me think,
Allowed me to...
Give you everything I had.
Emotionally And physically attached
To you, I was.
You lead me to believe that,
Everything I need
Was you...
And it wasn't.
I seemed so happy
So alive
Than I ever did before...
Cause,
Our love was so pleasant
It felt everyday was my birthday
And you were my present
At times,
I wish I never opened.
All the hugs and kisses,
The everyday I calls you's,
You love me's,
I love you too's
And the holding me endlessly
Was jus me dreaming...
Right?
I thought you loved me,
I thought you cared,
I thought you we were forever,
But I was wrong.
Our love was known
to be so pure,
I felt so high
I was soaring higher than
Any cloud ever flown,
That everyday I smile...
Especially since the birth of our son,
My beautiful child.
I could've sworn we were perfect
But I guess our
Time was running out
The clock ticked its last tock
And time has been called on the love watch.
Love definition could have
Been us but,
It would've been a lie.
When did the arguing begin?
It was ok to disagree
At times,
But to get loud and
Make it an everyday thing?
It was all so sudden,
We became complicated.
I love you so much but
After that last fight,
We decided to be seperated.
Yes my heart is broken but
Like Mary J. Blige said
I'll be just fine
And whoever said love last forever
Was lying-I don't hate you
I just could've sworn we were forever

Well stated.

It is true that all things end; yet, real love exists because it has existed since before the physical body; passion, lust,  infatuation, are but simple reflections, images in a house of mirrors.  Those are not real love.  They are worth experiencing though even if later there is a painful price.  It takes time and accumulated skill to see truth, especially in the worlds of love.

For you a child is a gift of a new universe of awareness, joy and pain, anxiety and exhiliration.

To know the edges of your ability to feel is to know the possibility of more.  The past is another country and we all no longer live there; the future holds for each the promise of a new land, a new life.  Having known great love, great passion, great joy simply means you are more likely to recognize other possibilities if you do not barricade your emotions.

Welcome to PiP!
