Privately, I entitled this poem "The Life Force of Trance," for trance music has been an inspiration to me for many years, however not everyone here will be familair with this particular genre, thus I went with "Music" instead.

THE LIFE-FORCE OF MUSIC
by Graham Frizzell.

When the volcano within has gone extinct,
the beat of the drum moves the earth.

When the fire in my heart can no longer breathe,
a memorable hook flashes and reignites the flames.

When all I can feel is the biting Southerly cold,
a blissful breakdown blankets me like a breeze of Northerly birth.

When life and love have left me high and dry,
a climactic melody drenches my soul like a desert rain.

Welcome to Passions.
Trance music, although I am not totally familiar; the earth gives her own rendition and of that I am compelled.
Nicely done.
