Bones was always
close to his Granddad.

They were pals.

When Bones was a little kid,
granddad would always take him
to the barbershop
to get his haircut.

It was kind of a ritual thing
with Granddad.

As you might guess,
Bones was a mouthy kid.

He couldn’t keep his trap shut.

So Bones is sitting in the barber’s chair.
The barber says—

“My goodness Bones,
those are some nasty mosquito bites
you have there on your legs.”

Bones says—

“Mosquito bites hell!
Them’s bed bug bites!”

After that,
Granddad decided that Bones
was really big enough
to go to the barbershop by himself.

Bobby

My youngest daughter would say whatever popped into her head. There were a few very interesting incidents that I recall and I wouldn't say she's all that different as an adult. She usually says what everyone else is thinking, refreshing in a way.

Bones is awesome.

I had a bad habit of revealing things about our family that aren't to be revealed in public when i was young. I can relate!

This brought smiles, dear Bobby, and also memories!

I think ourselves as well as our children sometimes have said things that made parents feel awkward.

Well rendered.

Love,
Margherita

Thanks dear Ida,

Your daughter has the right idea.

Honesty is always the best policy.  She knows what she's doing.

Thanks dear Margherita,

I'm pleased this one worked well for you.

Now I've got to go get ready for Mass.

Love Bobby
