lucid time-thoughts mingle fresh with
        dust-laden dreams
hyperbole on hiatus, latent memories
        unfulfilled, undone
wishes waft on billows serene
        silently subdued
mind-strokes swim in slues of stillness
        faintly fallow

barrenness of mind lords liege
        over tranquillity

Described an autumn morning in my mind, just before daylight.  The exquisite blend of then and now.
Lovely imagery Steaven.

TD,
Glad you envisioned this through the eyes of Autumn, caused me to read again to see it through your eyes--thanks for reading & commenting

Margherita,
Your commentary is far too kind, but thank you kindly anyway

I can't seem to find a connection to Autumn here but I still think this is a lovely, deep poem.
