Play It Again Its black and white still fill the room with a reminiscence of dinner jackets rented for junior proms. The television flickers between scenes, a sort of electronic candlelight connecting generations. Music, timeless and reassuring, mingles, doing to women's inhibitions what bourbon does to ice. The flawless linen and place settings lend to tables. Without interest, eyes exchange intentions. Shades of grey account for everything, from the creamy understatement of smooth skin to the veil of cigarette smoke, sheer and circling like a roulette wheel. Everyone is second hand. RMW |

Okay, I admit to being secondhand. A grainy copy of a film noir in the process of decomposing. But I like your poem: It's a bright spot before the film breaks. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

K.....thank you. It's a pleasure to see that prose is not so demanding as to keep you from this special place. Bob |
