Long night gestures engage
boring it's imagination
like blue facades of ocean water
wolf tones of dimensions
running down my chin
summertime uncoiling
delightful Irish songs
peripheral vision
with dimpled smiles
releasing infinite energy
teaching me silence
with a voice bigger then
the world
so I knead & bake
sage of memory
stuffing insulation into
the walls of my home
for the next cold night
which rues it's woe
surrogated talisman
who teaches
the secret art of
emotional growth
brushes and colors
abducting grey beards
drawing a sea of thirst
in rich sauces that place
moon dust
in my nightshirt
prolific in supply
undeniable connect
touching the mysterious head
of
fruit scented quietude
I defy instinct
and unleash my mind
a grab bag of multidimensional
reiki hands
painting an intimacy
of ghost worlds

Your words always just flow so smoothly down the page.  I loved your verbage in this and the way they lead the emotions that rest between the layers throughout.  Wonderfu as always.

I was admiring the cavalcade of words pouring down my screen when I fell over the following line;

so I knead & bake

It was the & that stuck out like the proverbial sore thumb. Sorry for being so pedantic over what, in every other way, is a work of such wonders.

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Yo LeeJ,

You are becoming an expert in stream of consciousness writing.  I’m curious to know, is that what you are trying to do?

Whilst the whole poem is my favourite part,

teaching me silence
with a voice bigger then
the world

struck me with your wordbrush the most.

I have seen that video before.  If I am not mistaken, it was via you - along with another poem?  this poem?  but I couldn't find this poem in my Lee folder, so perhaps it was via somebody else, but I really think it was you.  She is an amazing child in every way, though a few years older by now.

Thank your for another rich experience.

Lee, I sure have missed reading you!

I loved so many parts of this. Since I work with massage therapists during the MD Renaissance Faire, I have become a believer in Reiki.
"I defy instinct
and unleash my mind
a grab bag of multidimensional
reiki hands
painting an intimacy
of ghost worlds..."

My computer is running too slow for youtube this morning and will ty and link to it later this evening.
Thanks,

If I could find a word to say what I think of your poetry it would be ‘Amazing.’
No, ‘Beautiful.’
No, ‘Stunning.’
No, ‘Astonishing.’
No, ‘Indubitably Spectacular.’

Ahhh…  I just can’t find the words to say how much I love your poetry!

Always, you move the reader into realms far beyond 'self.
This piece carried me somewhere spiritual. Not to a religious pinnacle....but definitely spiritual.
Thank you for the link to Akiane, I had not heard of her. Her artistry is incredible.
