Dreamer's Street As mommies sing so soft and low Their tired little babies go Off to sleep where they will meet The Sandman there on Dreamer's Street Sparkling stardust lights the way To dreamland where the fairies play On clouds so soft and snowy white They play throughout the star filled night The little Sandman takes their hand To lead them through this wonderland Filled with joyous things to see Drifting along so peacefully As angels watch them as they sleep Safe within their watchful keep Their heads are filled with magic dreams Of starry nights and moonlight beams So mothers hold your babies tight And rock them gently through the night To where the Sandman waits to greet The sleeping babes on Dreamer's Street |

What a nice poem. I like the real lyrical rhythm. I write like this. It seems like a lost art anymore. I am going to read this one to my young son tonight. Thanks, |

Oh, Stephen, it is utterly delightful! I have to teach English to my sweet little grandsons, so that I can read them this wonderful "Dreamer's Street" to them. I think it is just perfect also for me right now ... Love, Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

A thoroughly enjoyable poem which, I am sure, will be enjoyed by all children from two to ninety-two. Do not go gentle into that good night. |
