It was so beautiful, That deck of cards that came crashing down. No longer am I allowed your warmth, Your scent; laying next to me as we sleep, Or the reassurance that you'll always be there. This divorce is more pain than torture itself. Screaming doesn't give it justice. I wish that I never woke up from my sleep. Only if dreams weren't more painful, than being awake. I love you. ------------ Might not be my most creative of works. But y'all get the idea... Nice to be back everyone! Good to have inspiration to start writing again! ... Heh. |

Wow, this is such a deep poem. It's very well written and packs a lot into few words. Hope everything goes well. Sounds like a painful time. |

Divorce never happens to two people that love each other. Find some one that will love you as much as you love them. Don't waste your love on someone that will not recognize it. It took me 3 times. I was finaly sucessful. you can too. Poetry is a great way to release fealings. NICE. |

Glad to see you posting again as well! Though this one hurts. It goes straight to my heart The only time we waste is the time we spend thinking we are alone. |

I honestly believe that loving someone that does not or doesn't anymore return that love is the second most painful thing we can endure (death of a loved one being the first). I know it has brought me to my knees. And I am just starting to stand on my own again... we do stand again and so shall you. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
