Wrote this for Ronnie when I met him at Nashville Now back in the 80s. Abe You Can Hear What He Sees His words and his music Are his unique way to see And we're fortunate he shares His great gift, with you and me. His window to the World Is not through sight, but sound And his life is sharing The joy, he has found. The beauty he can feel Is what, he hopes we hear For, though his eyes can't see His vision, is quite clear. He's had many blessings Given by God, up above A lovely Wife, a Son To, fill each day with love. He knows about some things Some of us, will never learn He's thought of with respect Something, you've got to earn. He has some dreams in sight There, inside his heart and mind And, he'll make them all come true For, he is, a special kind. Del "Abe" Jones Mankind's greatest accomplishment is not the revolution of technology, it is the evolution of creativity. |
