This morning, when I woke up...
I could see that I had two eyes
in my mind.

All my dreams were broke up...
in a million pieces
that I could not find.

But, it could be...that I did not dream at all...

or it could be...just a dream I'm having now...

So...I'll dream that I'm awake and on the ball...

I'm just dreaming
of a dreamer...anyhow.

Now...

I'm driving down a dirt road
and I see that there's a dirt road
in my mind.

Dust is rising up behind me...
and it makes my way back home
so hard to find.

But, it could be...that I have no home at all...

or it could be...that I'm safe at home right now...

Dreaming that today's the day you'll call...

I'm just dreaming
that you'd call me...anyhow.

This is just a song I'm singing...
'cause it seems I've got this song
inside my mind.

Now... I hear the phone is ringing...
and I know the dreamer's
gonna be just fine.

Your message said you'd like to try again...

or that we never really tried at all...

But, I think it's time for trying to begin...

So, I'll try to answer,
next time that you call.

Now I lay me down to sleep...
'Cause it seems I've done got sleepy
in my mind.

I fall into the darkness, deep...
Where I Am is
the only thing I find.

But, I never did
say that"I Am"then...

I'm only saying that I Am...right now.

I tend to play with myself...Now and Then...

I am that
I AM that I am...somehow.

This is a very introspective write but better for it.
The feeling of loneliness and desolation is abundant.
Well worth reading over again.

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Larry, sometimes I think you are in my mind~~

lately I feel like I am in a dream when awake and awake when in a dream and  actually wonder if  I am in limbo and do I really exist?  A very strange feeling.

As much as the undertones seem a little sad, I found it relaxing...A good read...

"it could be"

...my favorite part...could it be?  You pose the question well...puts a whole new outlook on a tantalizing concept

Anyhow, somehow, yes! You captured my attention with this psychologically intense dreamy/realistic write.

I often wonder whether it's the dreamers or the thinkers that find themselves in an "anyhow, somehow" situation but either way it can be somewhat disturbing or perhaps unsettling is a better word.  At the end of all the dreaming or thinking I would hope for peace.  Enjoyed this write, Larry.  Must I think now because I've done the dreaming thing?  Damn!
