Mother I know I never tell you And I really think I should But to say those words aloud It’s as if I never could The reason I don’t say them Is only because I’m scared I never speak those words to anyone But just know I’ve always cared You’re my mother And no one can ever replace The fact I don’t see you often Doesn’t make me forget your face The words I should tell you Are like old books no one reads They’re always in my head Not knowing where to lead But now I am ready To tell you how I feel I’m sorry to kept these words to myself I want you to know they are real “I love you.” |

A wonderful poem and so true for many people, we sometimes wait far too long to say those three words that can warm the soul and change a person. |
