This Beautiful Night

The forest is silent,
--Not a bug in sight.
All is quiet,
on this peaceful night.

The ocean is calm,
and the loons are still.
Stars shine down,
on evergreen hill.

A calm breeze blows,
across the sleeping land.
--Whirling wild flowers,
and gently stirring sand.

Selene’s light beams
on this beautiful night,
--Bringing life to our world
as dark becomes light.

I don't know whether this is the right place to post this comment. But you just replied to a poem I wrote when I was 14. This in turn prompted me to find my password etc. and come in a read the rest of my poems on here. This is all a little surreal. One slight question is why on earth were you looking through archives from 2003??????
