Entropy A day like today found you Shirtsleeves to the wind, waiting on the sun The banter of my calmer mind clears its throat Miming the elite spur of your mocha voice All around my thoughts you linger Warm, as angora arms that soothe the wrinkled day I’m missing you, my love The reasons flake upon snow covered winter Unimportant and small as the time between seasons There is not worry or alarm, but concern and caring Between our two hearts, tuned to an invisible frequency Spring writhes in its awaking, tugging in torrents my blood Warm, as angora arms that soothe the wrinkled day I’m missing you, my love Copyright Kkh 2/28/08 |
