The face A face he has seen somewhere. A face without a nametag, Waves of memory’s ocean Becomes unruly in vain. Some faces do not have names. He surveys its known features, He knows that he knows it close. A face he has seen somewhere. In a bus of public assembly? In a tube to underworld? In a road with shadows to whisper? In a place of toiling sunshine? In a distant island of blue dream? In a memory beyond a life? A face he has seen somewhere. Closely and within whispers. His sad finger’s grave touch on The forehead of it lingers. A touch that defies vagueness You know you know you know it. Has he seen it in a mirror? |

Very intense this one too. Of course there is familiarity captured in our faces and in others' faces ... if you look long enough into anybody's eyes, or yours, you will ... FALL IN LOVE ... because there is the SPARK OF GOD to be seen in all of our eyes. This is what Neale Donald Walsh says (in other words ...) in one of his captivating books "Conversations with God" and you know what? HE IS RIGHT! So this is the reminder: when we look long enough into another's eyes, we can't resist, because deep within there in his eyes we will discover this divine spark and will love him for that. No way out! You have me going ... great job! love Margherita |

Wonderful!!!! And this is philosophical and in some way it is true that when a character attracts our attention so much that bothers us to think, in general, is in our self-image. Another good one, my dear friend. |

You are a thinker ~ and you make me think! Your ponderings lead me to pondering! Your philosophizing poetry brings me to philosophize ~ and I like that! Another fine, thought-provoking penning! ~ and I like things that are provocative! lol I would also like to echo Margherita's response. Might I also add that "Conversations With God" is well worth the read! EA |
