There's not enough love in the world,
not enough hope, not enough caring.
There's not enough joy in the world,
not enough smiles, not enough sharing.

Isn't it so strange, isn't it a wonder?
It's all a big mistake, a tragic blunder.
The cost of our neglect could take us under
and cleave our very hearts and lives asunder.

From azure ocean's depth to mountain's girth
we hold this precious gem, our emerald earth.
Let's fill the world with laughter and with mirth
and recognize our only home's true worth.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.

Well, Scoff, you certainly spoke "your truth quietly and clearly!" Very wise words. I enjoyed your poem very much - also the quote you used in response to Cathy (Miscellanea)'s poem about the stranger who held open the door for her and made her day.

True..not enough love to go around....Love is the answer!

to much negative thoughts, media, not enough good.

I feel if the media was more encouraging and positive, then it would make the viewers see more positively and act more positively being inspired, you could take this web community as an example, the more we share, help, encourage other writers, readers, the better the inspiration for poetry, for life!

Sorry to go on..just my thoughts you provoked from reading your poetry!
