Rise with the sun
in morning's mists.
Greet dawn's glory
with a starlit smile.

In crystal vision
see forests and fields.
In brilliant clarity
hear nature's voice,
bird-song,
leaf-chime,
wind-sough.

Hands stilled, breath stilled,
thoughts stilled in anticipation,
today promises nothing,
but living is its own reward.
Exist beyond the realm
of limited perception
is the one true ideal.

In my sight
myriad images ignite,
aflame in fire-wrought dreams,
such elusive things,

but in truth,
the eye is willed to see
objects, not reality.

Yeah, I'm afraid, unless we change our ways, we won't have too many years left in which to enjoy her. What time we have is short, and the small opportunity we have to reverse the damage we've done is being wasted.

I've got one more post to make here today, and I think I'll use it to reinforce the point.
