Occasionally Erred

"Occasionally Erred", words from the mouth
of Senator John McCain on 07 February 2008...

Standing against Bush's tax cuts,
calling Christian leaders
agents of intolerance,
pushing for amnesty
for illegals against
the will of the people.
Occasionally erred?
Don't make me laugh.
Still, its nothing that can't
be fixed once Senator McCain
changes his Party.
By some of his choices,
cleary he already has.
Now he should stop living a
lie and change his marquee
to read "Senator John McCain...
Liberal Democrat Extraordinare."

I suppose there's a poem in there, but I can't get by the POLITCAL nature of it to enjoy whatever poem is hidden there. It's not a matter of agreeing or disagreeing.

Thank you Dennis the Menace, Artic Wind and Bobby Jordon for the wonderful responses...
Bobby this was not written to defend the Republican Party or President Bush, who I haven't agreed with on the war issues since Afganistan, which I believe was justified as far as capturing or killing bin Laden. Iraq was a mistake as it took the focus from bin Laden.
This was written to identify Sen. McCains liberal leanings in actions he has taken, which quite naturally will please liberal Democrats and upset conservative Republicans...James

Right. Note that President Bush still has not bagged bin Laden. I wish he would.
