Knowing Real Love

I remember the first call,
and how you played the guitar for me.

It was something quite different,
but left me with a smile you see.

Our time was very breif,
but full of laughs and smiles.

And you still pledge your love for me,
through the years and the miles.

You sang to me again,
sweet sound to my ears.

Knowing you still love me,
from that moment and through these years.
