~The Morn Arises~

The restless night had not prevented thesun
from making a daily journey to morns arising
the lace trimmed pillows strewn across the bed
still wet from tears she had been crying.

She stepped out onto the veranda for breakfast
just like she had done on every other morn
heavy was her heart from loves sweet sorrow
there was no hunger, her heart was torn.

Her daily stroll she made past the orchards
the aroma of peach hanging heavy on the air
she paused to tarry amongst the willows
coming to rest in her favorite wicker chair.

This had become her tranquil place of mind
as though her spirits own private sanctuary
it was here that she loved listening to the wind
and lonesome sounds of a passing ferry.

Willow trees bending over touching the ground
reminded her of angel tears falling from the sky
but this day they were not the tears of angels
it was her own tears the willows did now cry.

Oh!  Beautiful!  I hope there is going to be a third one, where he comes galloping back (on the same horse, please?).
