             Renewal

After the high storm,
distant evening bells ring,
through the fading remnants
  of a misty rain;
and forest life reappears,
(in fragrant emergence)
to a fresh new world
of calm, clear wonders.

Secondhanddreampoet,

This is a nice little woodsy poem.  It works well.

I love the fresh, clean feeling after a storm has passed. I am saving this one, Bruce.
I haven't been on the site as much lately as school is out and I'm busy entertaining grandkids. I almost missed this one.

After the high storm,
distant evening bells ring,
Indeed I can hear them trough the precision and music of the images and words....
Delightful
