   Nature’s Equanimity

Walk the twilight paths
of wind and dreams,
under moonlight
on ever-passing clouds
and a grand jeweled sea.

Be of clear mind and
calm heart in the forest,
(among quiet-mountain
   spirits)
where fears and worries
   shall suspend
for a thousand years
in one moment…
of Nature’s sublime
   equanimity.
