BEFORE THE STORM DIES You always make me feel Like a warm, summer breeze That quietly whispers through The branches of the trees. You make the air I breathe Smell of the blue ocean As it caresses me With relentless motion. The beauty of the roses Comes in second place When I see the lovely lines Of your pretty face. In the warm look of your eyes I see the blazing sun And the twinkle of the stars At night, when day is done. Your voice is like a bird song Soft and low and clear And it has the sweetest sound I will ever hear. The nectar of your moist lips As our two mouths entwine Is like a priceless bottle Of rare, old, vintage wine. Your skin feels like soft velvet Where it touches me Each curve is a work of art And promises ecstasy. And each time that we make love As our worlds become one There's lightening and there's thunder Before the storm is done. Your adoring love poem gives a whole new meaning to "stormy weather". Linda |
