Oh Socks,
you silly socks,
you never
cease to
astound me

Yet your
mischevious way
of disappearing
and subsequentially
reappearing...

Causes me to proclaim-
in no uncertain terms-
my personal vendetta
against you,
you sly, smarmy
Road Runners

Sunshine-
I couldn't resist comparing my plight with socks(the little buggers they are) to the good ol' ACME Corp. days of my youth. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

*sidenote* Who actually knew Wile E. Coyote was spelled that way...I thought it was Wiley Coyote up until yesterday.

Margherita,
I'm glad you enjoyed my homage to all things wacky and whimsical. It was a joy to write. All socks aside.

E.A.,
Whatever do you mean Linda?
(J/K)
Anyway,Thx. I'm glad my mischevious piece elicited laughter.

aww, you made me laugh.  I started a poem about socks the other morning - you have me way beat.  This is wonderfully charming!

What can I say Alison, I live to entertain.
Just call me the court jester. ^_-

Oh, and I'd love to see your diddy on socks should you happen to post it. I'm sure it is quite delightful.

Dear Shadow in Blue,

They live to defeat us, but we shall prevail!! Do not tremble, Sister Shadow in Blue!  Do not fear!  Even now negotiations with paper clips and rubber bands are under way, and with their help, we shall sweep the sock scourge before us.  Then let them shake with their dryer sheet friends!  Ha!  Yours in solidarity,

Mr. Bob

To my compatriot Bobby,

I'm glad the negotiations are going well, but alas I think we need more than the paper clips and rubber bands. I propose that we negotiate with the dryer antistatic sheets as well.
