Lovin' Those Words

There are words in my head while I dream;
they are colors which stream on the page.
All these words are then painted it seems;
when the palette and brushes engage.

On my lips, a mere bite, nicely sweet
all the words are now treasures to voice.
Is this love? Will it last? I entreat,
as I know I am offered no choice.

I’m in need now to write with these words.
I will utter Haiku in my car.
While to many it's simply absurd.
Such a secret the words will impart!

Your words are what these blue pages are all about!
They're well thought and ever so lovely.

You are a fine poetess Alison, truly you are~

"utter Haiku in my car.

Oh how charming, dear Alison. The genre "anapestic verse" sounds funny, but you really succeeded in giving it a magical touch!

And I am happy to see Master Balladeer happy!

Love and hugs.

ah...the grand-fine power of 'word-paint!'
[and so many marvelous images to render in said]...

excellent 'write!'....

applause for this 'penning!'

Alison, I always enjoy reading the words that you dreamed in your head once you commit them to paper, so to speak! ~ They make for colorful streams down the page!

Much love to you,
Linda xo
