Dowd As I lie sleeping one summer’s night, a stirring breeze blew sheers aloft. The scent of roses filled my room, ~ then I felt a touch so soft. A Star Man slipped between the sheets, while I dreamed a lover’s dream. Waves of warmth suffused my being, as we rode love’s tidal stream. Aglow, were we, in argent light, from the looming moon above. Enrapt was I ~ with this god from sky, who enveloped me in love. On bedroom walls, danced orbs of light, ~ all colors of a rainbow. The air was charged with energy, yet my breaths came deep and slow. Release was sweet as I did sigh, for I’d never known such bliss. Before the Star Man returned to sky, he bestowed warm parting kiss. As I lie sleeping one summer’s night, a stirring breeze blew sheers aloft The scent of roses filled my room ~ then I felt a touch so soft. “We are borne of star dust, and to the stars we shall one day return.” ~ Linda L. To tell you the truth dear Linda Lou, I don't think this puny little star guy could handle your earth shattering love. You are really the Universe Angel, so I would think you would at least need more of a kind of, Galaxy Guy to fulfill all of your much deserved desires. Loved your poem!
