the pain seizes me and I writhe in anguish overwhelmed by the despondency of distress my eyes roll back like a ticket torn to enter the palladium park on a Saturday morn I take the ticket to the ticketeer and ride out in the open—no place to hide the wheel is clouded as it rolls into the sky entering my mind, clockwise so high the mind plays tricks siphoning off its recall as the clouds of confusion come to call vagueness stands as a voyeur to missing thought dreams come as ebbing waves in tides not brought by reason, by hope, by understanding |

I feel a sense of exasperation and resignation, as if the faculty of reason, and the power of hope and understanding brings nothing to the enigma of unending cycles. Kind of abysmal! But life is many things in the boundless existential experience. I enjoyed the read, and I'm happy to share my personal impressions, even though they may not capture the essence of this fine poem.
