Would you give it to me so we could start a new life Free from the sorrows that come through the age Or are they too old to fill this page. With the beauty that lays inside my heart I'm only asking for a new start. I'm older now, I won't hurt you like I did back then Could you trust me now, can we be more than just friends. If I ask you for a thread of your time would you find in within your heart to be only mine could you free yourself from the pressures of your friends Reminding you of the agony of that time back then Could you forgive me and Marry me once again. I never stopped loving you I didn't want that divorce we had back then lets pick up those broken pieces and live together again. Lets give our anger to Jesus and let forgiveness set in. Through prayer and sickness I have prayed every day and night that some day soon you would once again be my wife. God knows I haven't really loved any one else but my spouse The rest were replacements in this lonely world called life. [This message has been edited by jody5 (05-08-2008 09:30 PM).] |

Gee, I remember that feeling about a wife one time - loved her until I died - (without all the other "just" bagage, but no way jose could I go 'back' - even when asked too. Too much over the hill...not the same two people anymore, original foundations are just scrap rock ... new foundation, new girl, or boy....only way to go. Trust kicks the bucket and only rust takes it's place....when faith dies, it's dead forever. I'm usually a little more upbeat than this...but this is truth as far as I'm concerned....if you can't fix it before it totally breaks...forget it....get a new one. No matter who broke it, or even if both contributed...kiss it goodbye...you'll love yourself for it later and hurts for a shorter lenght of time...and if you're the blame...give her a break and let her go. Sorry, usually not so direct...guess this caught me wrong. jimmy |

Jimmy, I would never go back either. I just wrote this poem about how some people feel. I could for give but forget.... never Anyone who could try so hard to distroy another human being the way some people do they just don't deserve a second chance. Thanks for your reply. Hugs Kimberly |
