I never was one for windows really
but then you brought shadows
and played mrs hyde and seek also
and said shhh my husband is home
but he don't mind my dancing

if the windows are not soiled
by a voyeurs eyes and the flowers too
are not trampled down too often
when a stranger climbs his wanting
and leaves boot print worship outside

like poems in someday maybe sand
laced up to tight to be love
but loose enough to just want to
slip off wishing kind of comfortable
that makes heavy the run away easy

and you said a lady drew your smile
when you were not looking
and did I even notice your eyes
how sad they were sometimes
when the sun turned the lights on

and I found you just in my mind

It's good to notice certain things, men seem quite distracted too often!

Thank you for the smiles you brought with this intriguing write. You are one of a kind ... poetically speaking

Love,

the title alone is enough to draw you in, but this phrase is just too cool: "boot print worship"
