Most days lately I can't see past my happiness and sadness was when I could write my best. So forgive a happy poet who no longer has a rhyme- be blessed by the archives that hold the sorrow of my time. |

Hi Dixie, I don't know if you remember me, but your words ring so true. It made me think for a second, why I've been writing so much lately. I think now, I know why. So nice to read you once again. And, so glad to hear happiness is no stranger to you anymore. You most certainly deserve all the bliss you desire. Rich Freedom of expression is our, write. |

Dixie, You made my night - I am thrilled that you are happy and I bet that your muse will return. It just has to adapt a bit. Love, A |

I am so glad that you are happy, Dixie. I, for one, am ready to read the joyful poems I know you can write. Idqa |

Dixie - So now you've made me think because I'm not writing these days either. Could I be "happy"? No, I don't think so but I do know that I'm happy that you're happy. Way to go, girl! Helen |

passing shadows, enjoyed... and it brings back a memory i want to share with you. ...Gone to the Archives... Where do poems go when they die? To some poetic heaven in the sky or do they go to some darkened and desolate literary pile, to be forgotten, forever, when the crumpled pieces are pitched into a dingy, cyberspace circular file? Where, oh where, do the dead pages go? Those wandering spirits and poetic souls buried deep...so deep, the aging poet cannot find, for, when they are out of sight, they are out of mind! |

Dear Passing shadows, The poem is well written. I don't believe a word of it. Bobby |

This is a good poem. I can write about any emotion, but depressing ones are my specialty. |

I caught a dream once. I asked if it was a happy or a sad dream, because the words it used were a little of both. It told me that all saddness has a smile point; all happiness finds tears; all words are a little of both or there would be no meaning at all. Rhyme or not, sad or not...I always enjoy what your words say, my friend. jimmy |
