Cade, I want to write a beautiful poem for you to take with you. But, the pain is too great; it hurts too much and too deeply. I am so lonely already without you. I know that it was your time, but this hole will never heal. I want my friend; I want you. I am so angry that you died and it hurts so much. I miss you, Cade. --- Alison |

Oh Alison, I wish I could give you a big hug and let you cry on my shoulder for a while... and just be there for you and with you... Your words for Cade are beautiful and will become even more so with the days and nights that pass dear Ali... And remember he does hear you and he will read your beautiful words...for always. Alison, Cade fought a brave battle and now he is at peace. You were fortunate to have had each other in your lives. I am so sorry for your loss and the emptiness that you are now feeling with his passing. Words cannot ease the ache in your heart or the hollow feeling in the pit of your stomach. Let the tears fall. In some ways, Cade may be even closer to you now that he is in spirit. A bond such as the one that you had with each other, cannot be broken. The friendship and compassion that you all have shown me over the course of Cade's illness and death has been a continuous comfort. I wrote of him because I wanted everyone who read to walk away feeling like they touched on the man Cade is. I am one of those most unsure of an afterlife, but I do believe that if we learn something about someone who has died, we carry a piece of them with us. I hope that many of you now carry a piece of Cade - he will only bring beauty to your life. Thank you and you have my love, Alison |
