Vagrant Sounds Latent night mixes the muse of the wind Heavy with the burdens of un-cried tears Welling ever so softly, as “almost” becomes a battle song Stirring the voices of green heron and chippy wings Woodland smells surface to trace their own breath Suddenly burst forth, releasing to hopeful blades of new grass Peace befalls my ears in familiar language, the trees and I Watch intently the vagrant sky, moving arms of cloud pillows Swept into haunting billows that perhaps are lingered dreams Of night birds, calling out in wistful sighs of nocturnal lies Spoken to be forgiven, remarkable is given name Just the wind, in vagrant sounds stir just the same Copyright Kkh 5/2/08 |

loved the feel of this one...its closeness to nature...the title alone was so cool...loved this line best of all: "Of night birds, calling out in wistful sighs of nocturnal lies" |
