Vaguely An open field A meadow A small hill Perhaps The sky was blue The grass green With many flowers Were there some kind Of birds sparrows Among the leaves Fluttering from Tree to tree When or where Whether it Was warm or cool I don’t recall What does it matter That the figure beside me Rarely spoke at all As if hardly needing to It was you That much I know . |
