Feeling low?
This day will pass.

Read a book.
Write a poem.
Cook a meal.
Eat leftovers.
Okay, eat out!

Have a glass of wine.
Give her a call;
Talk sweetly, truly . . .
Read another poem.
Write another poem.

But whatever you do,
don’t sweat tomorrow---
it, too, will pass.

The sun will rise and set,
with or without you.
Revere them, seize them;
hold them in the eye
of the soul while you can.

I wrote this to myself as much as to anyone who might read it and find some meaning there.

Art~
'read a book'
'write a poem'
'EAT OUT' ... now we're talking~

I love it when someone else has to do the dishes !!

Atr,

There is valuable information in this poem.

I'd break it up into strophes, and drop the caps starting each line.

And thank you, steavenr, and sharyn. Each time a fellow poet takes time to offer observations and encouragement, I am inspired to work harder to improve my fledgling craft!

Best wishes,

Art
