I think of flowers and she's there
with waves of sunshine through her hair.
I try to match her smile for smile
with aching heart all the while....

She's the stuff of dreams eternal,
a brilliant, lovely, earth-bound angel.
I can't believe one has the luck
to have her near, to hug and kiss.

"You inspire; I desire – and refrain; you sustain."

skips just like one's heartbeat doesn't it ....
