I travel as the eye of time Thus watch the day till had my fill But much eludes this passer by That I keep searching ever still I hold the pass of day with thought The pictures that I take within The wonders that a moment caught The treasures that a soul could win So then to sleep with dreams of time But rising to the bell of wake To oversee just once again The beauty that a life does make |
