A Special Place

I know just where to go
Whenever I need a friend
When my heart is hurting
They seem to understand

My friends all gather round
Right here inside my heart
They give me such comfort
Even though we’re far apart

They’ve been there from the start
Through all my ups and downs
They were always there, it seems
To take away those awful frowns

Each one holds a special place
As I think of them so tenderly
I never give up the dream I have
That someday we’ll really meet

There are those I will never meet
For they have left this earth
Still, they are right here in my heart
To me they had great worth

I think about the years gone by
Of how our friendship grew
Just how special they really are
I don’t think they even knew

Friends are always there for everyone!

Even during the bad times and lonely

and During the happy times and fun

they are always with us whenever

they are needed, thats why

they are really good to

have with you!
